Fished Breezy Saturday from 4 until 7pm. The kid and I caught 2-four inch perch, a three-quarter pound walleye and a decent crappie. It was a very slow three hours with very little action. We marked a few fish, but as always, we took very little home. Thank God I don't have to feed my family on my fish catch- it would definitely be a famine.

We've got a sleeper house for the 10,11,12 out of Dickie's and was just curious if I should be looking forward to fishing or bring a couple extra board games. Caught some nice ones this weekend on West Battle in 33 feet. 2 tip-ups caught all the fish no matter where we positioned the house around them. Thanks for any tips.

Metro Area Lakes Crystal lake Burnsville.

1-02-03 We caught 10 sunnies and crappies an hour but all were small. It's great fun for the kids to get out and try. It was none stop action 14-18 feet of water right off the bottom.

I was out on Red this weekend. My brother landed a 6 1/2 pound Walleye. I caught about 30 some crappies and 4 Walleye's none being smaller than 2 pounds. We had the most fun I've ever had ice fishing. I would advise everyone to hit the Rocky End Cove from now until about the First week in February. We would have caught more but we ran out of fatheads and shiners.

Fishing has been great all over but I believe if your looking for the bigger ones its time to head out to the 5 mile reaf. Outside of there Long Point and Twin Islands have still been hot spots.
